FAST LENDING, RETURNING AND RENEWAL
A typical lending process takes only a few steps,where the patron identifies him or herself e.g. with a library card and maybe a pin code. Next the items
are simply placed on the table top as advised on the screen – potentially in a stack, if RFID is implemented. The lending procedure can be concluded with a
configurable receipt listing all items borrowed and the date of return.
BARRIER FREE PATRON ACCESS
In the newest Library Mate™ software when using the touch screen, you can offer special barrier free functionalities by means of specially designed easyto-
read fonts and voice guidance. When feeding materials directly into the Lyngsoe Sort Mate™ sorter, the height is easily adjusted by push of a button.
INTEGRATES INTO THE SORTING PROCESS
The Library Mate™ software will guide the patron where to place the returned materials e.g. in a Lyngsoe Reservation Garage or on dedicated shelves. Potential fees and fines can optionally be shown on the screen. No staff intervention is needed for the process.
TOUCH SCREEN OPENS OPPORTUNITIES
The touch screen opens up for choice of language in the Library Mate™ software and leads the patron comfortably through the return process all the way
to the optional printing of receipts with your choice of text. Immediate feedback to the patron makes the process easy.
