Telepen are the preferred access control and ticket authentication solution providers for a number of tourist attraction, visitor experience, and events venues. This includes our Sentry Access Control installation at prestigious sites including the Mary Rose Museum, Lincoln Castle, Emirates Aviation Experience, and Westonbirt Arboretum. Sentry can be provided with different types of barrier hardware to suit your access control requirements and budget. We can supply a range of security gate systems to monitor the entrance and exit of your venue. With exit turnstiles in place you can obtain occupancy details to assist with, for instance, building health & safety and staff availability planning. We can also provide door access control and intelligent infra-red people detectors.
Where barrier installations are not appropriate, Telepen offer hand held portable scanning devices that can be utilised for ticket and pass validation. These can be online, enabling all devices to be fully aware of what tickets have already been authenticated, or if conditions dictate or allow, they can have the on-board intelligence to verify tickets in isolation. We can utilise RFID tag or magnetic swipe technologies to verify tickets and invitations, with the humble barcode remaining an excellent choice for compatibility with home printed tickets and smart phone scanning. We can advise on all these technologies and should be able to assist you regardless of whether you have already incorporated ID technology or whether you need help with its introduction.
Sentry software interfaces to a number of top Ticketing Systems to obtain visitor information. The system can be configured to suit the preferences of the visitor attraction including whether attendees can be re-admitted and whether a ticket or invite can admit multiple people. For truly bespoke requirements our in-house development team are waiting to hear from you.
Telepen offer a range of extras including a Forgotten/Lost Pass Kiosk which allows visitors who do not possess their ticket to issue themselves a temporary card for admittance. In conjunction with the kiosk we also have a web-based ad-hoc visitor booking option that allows staff to pre-register visitors who need access to the venue but would not possess the usual valid ticket or pass.
If you have a possible requirement for your tourist venue or event experience then let’s see if we can help you, without commitment or obligation of course. We have many ways for you to get in touch. Check out our contact details to choose the best way to talk to us.
