Our solutions are built on more than forty years’ experience of supplying barcode and smart card systems to our customers. In the last fifteen years we have developed our Sentry Access Control System for academic libraries, and we have also supplied campus-wide solutions including security gate systems and door access control. We offer a full range of turnstiles to suit your environment and budget. We also have a room booking module for Sentry to enable the booking of group study rooms, and now we have a temporary card kiosk to automate the process of issuing temporary cards for students and visitors alike.
Our new Sentry Satellite access control system enables public library services to open small libraries without staff. This enables them to remain open whilst reducing overheads.
Our Onyx student attendance monitoring system is designed to aid student engagement through reporting of absences from lectures. We are also developing the system to interact with other points of engagement with the institution such as the library and logins to the student portal. This will enable the institution to build up a picture of disengagements to support early intervention by staff to increase student retention. The system will also assist with the institution’s obligations on student attendance to the UK Border Agency (UKBA).
The Company also provide bespoke data capture and tracking solutions in areas such as ticketing, document tracking and internal mail tracking. We specialise in providing these systems with portable scanners including the ability to capture signatures.
